EF noticed an increasing demand for the refurbishment of old and leaking sprinkler storage tanks. We were asked if it would be possible to repair an existing sprinkler tank with numerous leaks around the base and waterline. We came up with a system where a mechanical / resin repair is carried out and a 3 coat epoxy coating system to prevent future corrosion. The first of these projects were carried out in 2008 and since then around 25 -30 similar projects have been completed. An average cost of replacement for one of the above tanks would be  around £25000 and takes 3 weeks to complete. The EF Repair System costs around a quarter that of replacement and takes around 6 days to complete.
